The Mifare card is an access control card based on an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) smartcard. This card works by being held close to a reader for a secure identification process. This Mifare card is generally used in systems that require efficiency, speed, and user convenience without physical contact (contactless). Mifare technology itself was developed by the company NXP Semiconductors, this card works on a radio frequency of 13.56 MHz. Inside this card there is a small antenna that functions to send radio signals to the RFID reader.
There are several types of Mifare cards that are often used in the Indonesian market Mifare Classic 1K (S50), Mifare ultralight, Mifare DesFire.
